Owner description: There's fun for the whole family at the Hub. For babies there is a dedicated under 2's area, as well as a separate baby sensory room. Toddlers have their very own specially designed toddler village, set apart from the larger children. Over 5's can explore the huge World of Play 4-storey playframe with it's 20 different themed countries and zones. There are electric go-karts to race around on, a beautiful new carousel, an 11m high tree to climb, a 2-storey laser tag arena and more! Adults are welcome to join in the fun as the entire venue has been designed so that adults can play alongside their children. If you'd rather just relax, there is a cafe, located within clear site of the whole venue, where you can enjoy a cuppa whilst the little ones have a great time! Riverside Hub is the ideal venue for childrens parties. We have a stunning range of party rooms - Pirates, Princesses, Dinosaurs and even a Unicorn Room. Visit our website to find out more...

We visit here a lot as the activities are fantastic and it’s clean! The staff are friendly and helpful. Facilities are maintained well and updated regularly and there is often seasonal events for example for Halloween. My only criticism is that it doesn’t cater well for those with allergies. You can make up a pack from things from the fridge - sandwich, crisps, drink and snacks, however the snacks are mainly dairy based - cheese, yoghurt and chocolate. And the sandwiches are made with butter so if you request a dairy free one, it comes dry, clearly they don’t keep dairy free margerine in the kitchen. The hub doesn’t allow you to take your own food in either - stating allergies as the reason. I did contact them months ago and they assured me they would look into it, but they didn’t.

Thank you for your review Nicola, it's nice to read that you find the activities here to be fantastic.

Whilst we stock soya, oat milk and coconut milk, we do get very few requests for non-dairy butter to be honest. We do have a policy of not allowing own food in the building, but make an exception for people with allergies. You are welcome to bring dairy-free snacks with you.

We do stock various dairy-free foods, so it would be worth asking again the next time you visit, as we get numerous requests for dairy free kids meals, just not dairy free butter, sadly.

I do hope your next visit will be an enjoyable one.

Kind regards,

Ellis Potter

The Hub used to be amazing! Always spotless and well looked after. However I've been a few times lately and the standards are clearly falling. Several times adults and children are ignoring basic hygiene rules such as no eating/ drinking in the play area and socks are to be worn at all times. The staff don't seem to care but it's not acceptable to have babies crawling around on dirty floors etc.
Standards are falling but sadly the price isn't.

Thank you for your review Adriana.

Cleanliness is the second most important part of Riverside Hub - after safety.
We have a team of cleaners who are often working into the small hours each morning to thoroughly keep the area clean and tidy.

We do have strict rules of play that there is no eating or drinking in the play area, and if we ever see anyone doing so, we respectfully ask them to stop, and come away from the play area.

There is a sign at reception, and other signs around the building stating that socks must be worn at all times. In the summer months we do have to remind people often that this is the case. We do sell socks, so that helps to solve the problem.

If ever there is anything that you feel is not right, please tell a member of our team and we will try to put it right for you.

Kind regards,

Ellis Potter

Been here a few times, most recently last weekend for a kids birthday party. Its a huge indoor play area, with loads and loads of activities to keep kids entertained. We could litterally let them loose and off they went. Massive softplay/climb area in which I think adults had as much fun as the children. There was electric cars to race about in, a climbing tree, play house etc. etc. etc. There are a number of rooms which you can hire for parties, all themed. The pirates room in particular looked fantastic. Everything was in excellent condition and all kept clean.
Our party had food and the food was really tasty. The chicken strips in particular were really really nice. About 4 times the size of the ones you get from places such as Dominoes and tasted great.
Staff were all friendly and nice. I noticed, as I was people watching from the upper deck that one lad had lost his parents, but I was pleased to see one of the staff spotted him straight away and came to the rescue.

Only downside is that the car parking spaces are quite small and the car park quite tight, so if you have a big car then watch out. The hub also, understandably, gets very busy when its raining, so bare that in mind. Also as its full of kids/people running around it can get a bit warm inside, so id recommend wearing shorts.

All in all a fantasic venue and kids always have a really good time here.

Thank you very much for posting such a well-detailed and thoughtful review.

Here at the Hub we are fully dedicated to our motto of 'Providing great days out for families, and the very best birthday parties'.

It gives us a lot of pleasure when we see that people are coming to us and having lots of fun. Through constant improvements and big and small changes, we are always trying to improve what we do.

I was pleased to read that you noticed a member of our staff helping out a lost child, little touches like that are very important.

There will be lots of quite large changes coming over the next few months, with lots of new play features, so I do hope you and your family enjoy them once they are up and running.

We look forward to welcoming you back again soon.

Kind regards,

Ellis Potter

With an ever changing landscape this really is the ultimate soft play centre for children of all ages. The team really go above and beyond to create something special for everyone who visits. The management team are often seen and always on hand to answer any questions. The food is of excellent quality and always offers a good selection of choice.
Thank you for the brilliant events you hold, expense is never spared to create a quality experience for our children. What a truly fabulous and safe environment to catch up with friends.

Thank you for your very kind words Charmaine.

As you have noticed, we are not your typical indoor play centre, the level of investment we keep on ploughing into the business is unprecedented in this type of industry.

We never wanted to create 22 of these sites all over the country, just to do one of them, and to make it as amazing as we possibly can.

Our events are always lots of hard work to put on, but the smiles on the faces of the children attending, and the feedback from the parents, always makes them worthwhile.

Our Funfair Nights, Halloween parties and Christmas events are all pretty special.

I do hope your family can continue to enjoy your visits to the Hub.

Kind regards,

Ellis Potter

Every time were in Northampton we come here we absolutely love it. Not only is there a big play area for the bigger kids there is also a big area for smaller kids which in most of the other play centres we have been to the toddler area is tiny. There is also sensory rooms for babies. There was 3 adults and 2 kids that went and it cost just over £26. You have to pay for adults aswell but we have as much fun as the kids. There is go karts, a carousel, laser tag and a climbing tree which is all included in the price. On are latest visit we meet the owner who was very nice and friendly. The only problem we have found is that there is not much parking by here so it can sometimes be hard to find a space. I just wish there was one of these in Liverpool aswell.

It's very pleasing to read that you are having such a good time at the Hub. We do pride ourselves on having lots to do for the whole family.

I do hope you can continue to pay us visits every now and then, as we have very big changes coming soon, with lots of new play equipment being installed, as well as a brand new area for under 5's opening up.

Kind regards,
