An oddball location on the side of the motorway next to farmer's fields makes this not the best choice if you wish to walk around the town. I'm not sure how it stacks up to the other local options however - it may be the 'best' hotel in town! On arrival the room was very warm and the air conditioning was working very hard to cool it down for a couple of hours before it was comfortable. The bed is very comfortable with 4 fluffy pillows and good quality linens. The drapes are true blackout which is great if you arrive from California as I did and needed to sleep late without being woken. Overall fairly quiet and relaxing although I did hear housekeeping clunking around next door through the wooden floors. Breakfast was included and there is a decent variety of fresh fruit and European breakfast items along with traditional "full English" eggs, sausage, bacon etc.
My one complaint is the water pressure in my shower... the shower valve seems broken and I haven't been able to get a resolution even after mentioning it to two different front desk clerks. Perhaps it is a larger fix than possible by a visit from maintenance...
Overall a good stay.More
