My cousin booked us for a night away, having got a good deal she booked the Park Inn, Radisson. I liked the hotel and is good for business travellers. The front desk was small but as it's geared for business so that was fine. I was annoyed that we had to pay a parking charge, I feel that should be waved for patrons of the hotel.
The room was nice, clean and functional, bed was comfortable also. Both of us felt like a swim so went to the so called spa area, not only were changing rooms hard to find they were not very nice either. To get to the pool we had to climb stairs, bearing in mind that you would have to go down the very same stairs with wet feet I don't that adds to the safety aspect. The pool area was ok but the whole area looked tired and there were no accessible toilets, the disabled one had a broken door with no lock. To top it all off I slipped and fell in the pool, I didn't mention it as I didn't want to upset my cousin who thought it would be a day away.
The good point was at breakfast, the staff were attentive and very friendly, many thanks to Sarah, Sabina and Joanne. You are a credit to service staff.More
