The location of the property is fantastic. Just 5 minutes from the fantastic Bishoprthorpe Road area for a quick coffee or excellent breakfast as well as good pubs, restaurants and takeaways. It is even closer to town so perfect for nights out or shopping. There are also two convenience stores (Tesco and Sainsbury's) very close by. The parking is also very useful even though its a short walk to the train station.

The house itself is perfectly equipped and we stayed here for 6 weeks whilst visiting the UK and it offered everything possible for a home from home. The landlords provided those esentials that you probably wouldn't remember like wood (including firestarters) for the burner, coffee for the machine and even salt, pepper and oil. I can't speak highly enough of our time at the house and if we ever need to come back for a stay then this will be our first stop.

Stayed for a week and although property pretty basic it was in a very good position for the centre of York which we really enjoyed with plenty of restaurants pubs and entertainment within easy walking distance

A lovely compact terrace house conveniently located in easy distance of the centre of York. It was very well equipped and comfortably furnished. The house was clean and well set out. We had a lovely weekend.

Helpful welcome. House very clean, well appointed. Bathroom a little small and downstairs shower not very convenient. A concern about the window in the single bedroom, used by a child, which could not be locked and had no limiter to its opening. A very annoying motion-activated light on the landing but over all we enjoyed our two night stay.
