Had a lovely light English breakfast. Light meaning you got less bacon & sausage than the traditional full English!
Choice of fried or poached eggs. Lovely breakfast cooked to perfection and plenty of it. Really glad we went for the lighter option.
Perfect setting not far from the cathedral.

We visited for the first time , pre cinema visit.
We received a warm welcome & the surroundings are cosy & individual.
No bland corporate decor here.
We ordered scrambled eggs, on toast with bacon.
We chose granary bread.
Nice, thick slices, with creamy scrambled eggs & nicely cooked bacon.
We had tea, which came in individual pots & provided a nice 3 cups.
Good food. Good value.
On our list for revisits.

We had a lovely easy family breakfast here. It was simple and tasty and freshly made. The kids loved the good quality hot chocolate and we always enjoy avocado toast made well on proper bread. Only thing I would change is a little ventilation from the kitchen. A personal pet peeve of mine is smelling of food after I leave somewhere. Perfect location for the pretty streets of Elm Hill!!

Wandering on the lovely Elm Hill after a salty breakfast, we popped into Storm in a Teacup for something sweet and to get out of the rain.

Cozy inside, welcoming and approachable, the staff were very friendly. We ordered a Black Forest hot chocolate and a salted caramel latte and some cakes, it was all incredibly decadent. Other customers’ meals also looked great, and we would loved to have tried one of their cooked breakfasts or lunches.

On top of it all, the music was fantastic, hit after hit. So glad the rain drove us in!
