Charming hotel

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 11 Sept 2024
We loved this hotel. Yes, it’s tiny, and no elevator. However, we found it very charming and Mehdi was incredibly kind and helpful. He offered suggestions and answered all our questions. He also insisted he carry all our luggage up to the 4th floor for us. We will definitely return.

Can’t fault the work of Mehdi and the team. Worked really hard to accommodate me. Great location and good value. Only word of warning is that there is no lift, so not for the immobile. Room was great, but bathroom a fraction cramped. But overall recommend on the basis of cost, location and helpfulness of staff

Room tip: Needs a lift. Four stories. Narrow stairs

This is a lovely little boutique hotel. The room was small but functional. Could use a screen on the window. Right near the Paddington Station which made getting to other parts of the city easy. Has a couple of good breakfast places and a couple of okay pubs. The staff were fantastic. I’d recommend it first sure.

My husband and I just stayed at the Tudor court hotel and it was great.

We were impressed by the helpful and friendly staff especially a woman named Oula. She offered us recommendations for dinner and sites to see nearby and was generally friendly and helpful.

The bed was comfortable and the shower was great.

The location was only a two minute walk from Paddington Station so it was easy to get around the city.

The room is a bit small but just as a place to sleep it worked great. It would not be a room to hang out in for a long period of time .

I think the thing that amazed us the most was how quiet it was. We were in the heart of London, and it was perfectly quiet overnight while we were sleeping - no noise at all and we had our window open.

I would highly recommend this hotel and if we are ever in London again, we will definitely stay there .

Great linen, comfortable bed, very clean.
The reception was welcoming, my bag was taken upstairs by a gentelman,
Help offered at any time, the staff interested in their guests which is most unusual these days. Very happy to have that human contact rather that “do it yourself” on every level.Thank you everyone.

Room tip: If you you do not mind small size room, stay at Tudor Court

This was my second stay at Tudor Court this summer.I was very warmly welcome by Oulaya and Mehdi at the reception. They are always very kind, friendly and helpful. Many thanks to them as they make me feel as if I am home, as if I am among friends. My room was a single room at the first floor, it was not big, but it was very clean and had everything you would need: safe, fridge, kettle with complimentary teabags and coffee. The bathroom is small but also clean. The hotel is 2 minutes walk to Paddington train station and tube stations for District, Circle, Elizabeth and Bakerloo lines which make it very easy to visit many places in London. Hyde park corner,Marble Arch and kensington Gardens are also at a walkable distance.I often walked to Oxford street from the hotel in half an hour although I am not young. The area of the hotel is touristic, with many cafes, pubs and restaurants and hopon hop off buses stop at the corner of the hotel. When I come to London again I will sure choose Tudor Court. Kindness is very important for me and I always saw very kind, helpful, warm staff here like Oulaya and Mehdi.
