I regret choosing Lamington Apartments for my temporary accommodation in London. While their website is polished and inviting, the reality is a far cry from what’s advertised. The apartments are extremely basic, nothing like the pictures, and certainly not suitable for business stays. They feel more like student accommodation at best.

To make matters worse, we’ve been without internet for the last 4 days—an absolute nightmare when you’re new to the UK and trying to settle in. I’ve complained several times, and each time I was told it would be fixed the same day (Thursday). On Friday, someone came to work on it but couldn’t fix it, and then for the entire weekend, nobody cared to address the issue. For a place that markets itself as professional, this level of service is completely unacceptable.

I stayed for 3 weeks while transitioning, but I’d strongly caution others: the glossy marketing is misleading, and the risk of disappointment is very high. Definitely look elsewhere.

There was no one there at 8.58pm for check in. They didn't call or sent any email with check in instructions. No one answered the "emergency numbers" displayed on the door. I waited for one and a half hour for any contact or someone to show up, but nothing. Had to book an hotel for that night and checked in the next day (no refund suggested as i paid for the hotel also).
Apart from that (which in itself was a terrible experience), the flat was nice, clean and cosy with a good decoration and well located. Couldn't sleep well because bedroom curtains do not block the street light, but the bed was comfortable.

Place, service wrong on so many levels. Its a very bad place to arrive at in the rain. Reception is making me walk between apartments with suitcase in the rain.
The building was no noisy, I couldnt work or sleep at all in those 2 days.
Not recommended if you want to have a relaxing time.
