“Home away from Home, for real.”
Reviewed 14 October 2015 for a stay in September 2015

You can stop looking for a hotel and stay here instead. This warm & lovely apartment located in Battersea is everything that it described. When we arrived, we were greeted with warm welcome by the landlord. Everything was explained, and this apartment also comes with a blue book that has all of the information we need for our stay here. They also provide 2 Oyster Cards, we top it up, used it, and returned it so next guest could have this facility. This apartment is located at a safe neighborhood, in our opinion, we (two girls) walked home at night from the bus stop without ever feeling unsafe or uneasy.
Please check out Queenswood, the restaurant, we had our first & last meal of our visit here. Great service and great food. If I can only name ONE thing I love about this apartment, it will be its cleanliness, NOTHING in here smells old or stale. Bed is sturdy, sheets & cover are clean. I am allergic to dust, but I had no issues during our stay.
Highly recommended but make sure to check with the landlord your exact check out time if it is not mentioned to you already.

Archer House is a real find. We have stayed here twice and really enjoyed our visIts. Location is everything and with easy transport it's a winner. The bus runs outside the property and takes you to Victoria which is an excellent hub for further transport. It's an easy walk across one of the Thames bridges to Chelsea with great shopping and restaurants. Battersea Park is a 10min flat walk along the Thames Path - well worth visiting.
Inside it's a real home from home: warm, light and airy, spotlessly clean, some carpet some wood floors, a spacious bedroom (comfy bed) with lots of storage cupboards, a well-furnished large sitting/eating room (with speedy wifi) and a kitchen with all utensils you need. Sometimes it is nice to cook and eat in and its really easy here. Having said that the small local Battersea Sq is a five min walk with at least 5 neighbourhood restaurants. Plenty of hot water and the power shower is great. Should also mention the view which is lovely at night.
We brought our car and there is a safe parking space in the complex which is really useful in London but once we got there we didn't need to use it again til we left.
The owner Annabel sounds delightful and is really helpful. She has written a masterpiece of a handy book with workings of the flat and other tips.
All in all highly recommended for a visit to London.
