The hotel is owned and run by the Hambi family who are on the scene on a daily basis, keeping the customers under their personal care.
Everywhere the hotel is maintained in top decorative order and the rooms are being upgraded all the time. We are regular customers since 2012 and every time we stay there, we notice improvements – this time we stayed in room 15 which had its bathroom upgraded to bring it up to the latest modern standards. Moreover, the room was spacious, very clean, very well equipped and fitted with quality furniture and linen. The bed mattress was excellent being conducive to a good night’s sleep.

Other hotel big pros are the provision of a lift to all floors and the strategic location. The Windermere Hotel is only a 7-minute walk from the Victoria Coach Station and a 9-minute walk from the Victoria Train/ Tube Station, greatly facilitating one’s daily commuting. Also, for keen walkers, various important places like Buckingham Palace, the Imperial War Museum, the Westminster Abbey, the Westminster Cathedral, Churchill’s War Rooms, etc. are within walking distance from the Windermere Hotel.
All-in-all, this was another memorable stay! Once more the Windermere Hotel has upheld and enhanced its excellent reputation. We will very happily go back there again.More
