Four of us came here one Saturday afternoon and were amazed to find such a quiet, beautiful spot so close to the hustle and bustle of central London and to Paddington station.
There is a pleasant canal to walk along from the rear of Paddington station up to Little Venice and the junction of the Grand Union and Regents Canal. There are many boats moored up and various people making use of the canal, paddle boarders, kayakers and those who had rented boats for the day.
After a walk along the canal and a stop at a couple of local pubs, we took a delightful water taxi ride through Regents Park and its Zoo to Camden Lock.
A really enjoyable few hours.

We took a day to just walk and explore, we walked from Notting Hill to Little Venice, a long walk, but it allowed us to see parts of the area we would not other wise see.
We came to Little Venice and saw several boats, a couple were cafés, (which were bustling, we did not stop to try them),and the others appereard to be homes, not much other than that. It was, however, a lovely walk along the water.
We walked along until we came to Paddington Central where there were beautiful flowers, and seating areas near the water.
It was a nice morning walk along the canal.

I noticed Little Venice when being driven on the overpass and I knew I had to visit! It's great quiet place to get away from the huddle and bustle of city life. Cobblestone tie paths, bars, restaurants, etc....beautiful. Some lovely barges too.

Strolling along canalside is a fun way to spend the afternoon. During Spring, flowers populate the walk and the boats are afloat. Tip: Make sure you have a credit card to book a ride as they don’t accept cash.
