Fantastic service from the welcome to service. Great ambience, laid back but attentive. Menu was limited but what the offered they did well. Felt welcomed and looked after. Stayed with Cocktails as a warm day, the Sorento Spriz was so refreshing. Then at the end a surprise as was OH birthday. Thank you.

What a nice afternoon tea in this lovely British vintage decor. The service was courteous and the food excellent! The glass of champagne was a nice extra! It is my second time for an afternnon tea and I sure will come back.

we had the sunday roast beef which was great as was the cauliflower cheese but the potatoes were like concrete the yorkshires stone cold and the plate stone cold. the wine waiter tried to convince us that the warm white wine bottle was normal and that the fridges arent cold enough really not good enough a very disappointing expensive meal.

The rooms are already legendary with mad numbers of pillow cases and seriously comfortable beds. So this is a shoutout for the wonderful front desk, reception team who were all helpful, friendly and good humoured. Thank you.

Showed up on Valentines. Solo tired traveler with no reservations. They could not have been better and even got a seat for me with tablecloth at the bar for a great dinner. I spent tons because I was so happy. The restaurant was totally booked. The bar staff treated me like a regular and made someone feel really good.

I have been a frequent visitor to Dean Street Townhouse for lunches and dinner. This week I opted to go for afternoon tea with a friend. It is advertised as being back on the program. I think they should take it OFF. So underwhelming. The room is dark and dingy. We sat down and the staff were not welcoming. Patrons were squashed against each other. Certainly not a good atmosphere. One redeeming factor is the scones were nice but only came with a tiny bit of jam. I had to ask for more. No way would that suffice 4 scones. We won't be back.
Room tip: Look around for another venue.
