We stayed at Heywood House for one night, the location is great it is close to the docks, Liverpool one shopping centre and all restaurants and bars. The hotel offers a discount on parking at Liverpool one so 24 hours cost us £11.50, we thought this was quite good. The room was nice, cosy but quite dark. The bathroom was actually a wet room, I don't know if every room was like this or if we just happened to be assigned to this room as there was one spare, as this would have been better for those who actually needed it. The toilet had green and brown stains on the seat which I couldn't get off myself.. not nice to see and should have been replaced really.
Overall a nice average hotel bed was very comfortable and hotel offered good discounts for nearby restaurants and parking.

Dear Guest.
We are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay here with us and that you found our rooms nice and cosy, our discounts good and our location perfect for what you needed. In regards to the wet room, I am sure our staff down in reception would have been more than happy to offer you a room move if you would have preferred a room with a standard cubical shower. We apologise for the stains on the toilet seat and I can ensure you that all of our rooms and bathrooms are thoroughly cleaned by housekeeping however I have reported the issue and we will definitely investigate this further and look into replacing the toilet seat. We value each and everyone of our guests and we would like to thank you for taking the time to write this review. We look forward to hopefully welcoming you back here to our hotel at some point in the future.
Kind Regards,
Rob.

Spent just one night here a few days ago, using a Smart Box voucher my daughter bought for me as a birthday present. This hotel doesn't look much from the outside, but once over the threshold, it is very pleasant so don't be put off.
We asked for a quiet room and were given one on the front of the hotel on the third floor - very quiet, very clean and loads of Tea / Coffee / Chocolate supplies.
On stepping out, the main shopping area is about 300 yards up the hill, and the Albert Dock about the same down the hill (Mersey Ferry Terminal). It's about 100 yards from the statue of Queen Dicktoria (That's not a spelling mistake - ask a local.)
You can have a breakfast in the adjoining restaurant at a cost of £15 pp. On the other side of the hotel is a bar that opens at 0900 hrs and does a cracking full English for £6.50. No brainer - Less than £10 with orange juice and a cup of tea.
When I go back to Liverpool, this will be the first place I'll Look.

Great hotel and brilliant location to visit such a great city.

We stayed on top floor and had a balcony terrace. Unfortunately it was October but I can image summer evening with a drink in hand would be very nice.
Hotel is modern, clean and tidy. Excellent staff and lovely rooms and facilities.

If definitely stay there again and would highly recommend

Stayed for two nights, great location, just a few minutes from James st station and the docks, and within easy reach of shops, bars and restaurants. Room well presented, more than big enough and really clean, staff really helpful. Had breakfast both mornings in the alchemist, which is next door (really good!). Had an amazing evening meal at the Heritage, round the corner, amazing tapas bar, superb food, great service and so cheap. Check it out on trip advisor. 3 plates and a bottle of wine £20, + another three plates, perfect for dinner for two. We also had cocktails. If we come back we would stay here again and eat at Heritage again. Great break. Thank you

The hotel is fantastic, rooms are a good size with everything you need and everywhere is immaculately clean. The location is great, about a 5 minute walk from the Liverpool One shopping area and less than 15 minutes from Lime Street Train station. As good as the hotel is the staff are just amazing, Ellie in particular went above and beyond to help us out when our travel agent messed up. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

Room tip: All the rooms in this hotel are different and they all look great but for something special ask for one of the balcony rooms
