We stayed here for 3 nights in early January. Liz is brilliant and very friendly. The room is one of the best I have stayed in. Never stayed in a B & B with a separate living room and the bathroom was huge . It was very well equipped and was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was fab. Plenty of cereal to choose from with an assortment of fruit. We even had beetroot bread and home made breakfast muffins. Beautiful cooked breakfast and you were set for the days walking. All in all a beautiful B & B in a lush location with a warm welcome from Liz .

My husband and I have just returned from a three night stay at this lovely bed and breakfast in Coniston. It's set just a few minutes walk from the village centre, which was perfect for us and meant that parking wasn't a problem. Upon arrival, we received a warm, friendly welcome from Liz, the owner, who showed us to our room. We stayed in the Grizedale room upstairs, and it was a very pleasant surprise to have a little sitting room area with two armchairs and a flat screen TV so we had somewhere separate to the bedroom to relax in. The bathroom was huge and it was nice to have a bath as well as a shower for a soak at the end of the day. The bed was lovely and comfy and we slept well every night. There was a good choice at breakfast and the porridge was particularly delicious. Liz is the perfect host and goes out of her way to make you feel at home. This a lovely bed and breakfast in a perfect spot and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
