My in-laws has the most wonderful wonderful experience there a few weeks ago. The staff went out of their way with kindness and a heartwarmingly caring attitude. My father in law is disabled and they found not only the disabled room great for their needs but also the staff’s flexibility took away a lot of stress. My in laws arrived late (after breakfast Had finished) and they sorted breakfast for them without any issue. Nothing was too much trouble. They would recommend it highly, will be looking to stay there again without hesitation and was so blown away with it that my mother in law wouldn’t rest til I had posted this Review.

We recently had our evening wedding reception at the Pegwell bay hotel, following our wedding in Las Vegas. Richard the events manager was attentive and professional throughout the planning process, covering every detail and making the whole experience as stress free as possible, he thought of the things I didn't and certainly went over and above the call of duty to ensure our event was everything we hoped it would be. It was also great to find a venue large enough for a big group and with rooms, so all guests from further away could book in with a reasonable discount and carry on till the end, knowing they were staying at the venue. I would highly recommend the Pegwell bay to anyone who was looking for a wedding venue locally.

We stayed here last year for a one night honeymoon and didn't really get to make the most of it as weather wasn't great and we were exhausted after the wedding and reception over two days !so this time definantly was brilliant the sun was shining lovely and hot when we checked in!both staff on reception were helpful and friendly our room was on the second floor number 203!it was small but perfectly formed with beautiful views over the water!!
We had everything we needed a fan (room was very warm)tea coffee etc biscuits shower gels !bathroom small but functional and all clean!had a great nights sleep the bed was comfy with lovely bedding and no noise at all !!
Shower was lovely and hot and powerful!
Ate breakfast in the hotel ,a beautiful room to eat in was busy but didn't feel crowded!choice of cereals, fruits ,toast ,pastries then cooked breakfast ,gammon ham and eggs, porridge ,kippers and lots more !the breakfast was delicious and lots of it too!!
Plenty of areas to walk also outside of the hotel plus the two lovely pubs over the road !All in all a brilliant stay and we will definantly be back again for another stay

My sister used to live in Ramsgate , so I have visited the town many times over the years . I first knew of Pegwell Bay through the famous painting by William Dyce now in Tate Britain , but always thought that the PBH just looked like another tired Victorian British seaside hotel ? however it has recently had a facelift , with great attention to detail . our bedroom , and especially the en-suite bathroom were lovely , but so were the public rooms , with many of the original Victorian features being retained . Very friendly staff and a very comfortable stay .
