Very clean and well equipped.
Great location to explore Canterbury and surrounding area.
Owner could not have been more helpful
Our only word of caution would be for families with young children as you need to cross or walk down a fairly busy road to get to car parking.
What a find. A very well appointed place to stay within easy reach of Canterbury, Whitstable, Herne Bay etc.
The cottage has everything you need for a stay in the Garden of England. Tony, who lives next door, came round to say hello and give us some tips about that to do.
There's a pub right round the corner but check it's opening hours as they differ from its website. It does do very good food at extremely reasonable prices.
The road outside can be a little busy but it only is noticeable if the windows are open.
In short, an excellent place. Well recommended.
This cottage had all the amenities required for a great stay close to Canterbury with off road parking . A bus service which runs past the cottage will take you into Canterbury in about 15 mins as parking in Canterbury is a problem this was ideal , in fact you could if you wanted to catch buses to all major towns and seaside resorts from Canterbury every 15mins , but all of these places could be reached within 30 mins by car from the cottage which made it a ideal base for touring this part of Kent. Perhaps one of the best amenities was a village pub just 50yards from the cottage serving great food and drinks .
Kath's Cottage is in a great location for exploring north Kent. It is a very comfortable cottage and my husband and I felt really at home here. We liked to sit in the conservatory after a long day out with our gin and tonic. The Red Lion round the corner was good for a friendly drink or an evening meal, food is excellent. Colin was very helpful with any queries we had and booking through him was made really easy. There are many lovely places to visit in the area and everyone is really friendly. We would definitely want to stay here again if we were visiting the area. Thank you Colin.
