“Back to Blighty!”

Last minute booking due to change of plans literally thirty minutes before boarding 13 hour flight back to Blighty yesterday

Spoke direct to owner and sorted a sensible discounted rate as sort of "repeat guest" (having stayed as a guest of friends at another property in Cheltenham last year), very helpful and pretty efficient sorted everything by phone give. It was on day of arrival - inc arrangIng taxi at LHR to Cheltenham at less than cost of two train tickets, picked up by Cheltenham "mini cab" albeit an XF Jaguar. Very Cheltenham....!

Met by Thomas who had already lit the living room fire in preparation for our arrival. Very much appreciated having arrived back to 3c in the UK after almost three months in SE Asia.

Friends had previously stayed here as part of a house party deal and it's as good as they said. It's too cold to do much exploring but a thrill to sit in front of a real fire with Montpellier on the doorstep. Bed is comfy, proper down pillows a treat after hard mattresses and cheap pillows even at quite posh hotels in Asia.

Decor is classic meets Regency contemporary with some interesting art. Very homely.

“Almost perfection”

Being disabled I was worried about the access steps but they are not steep and I managed them easily with my elbow crutches. I can only endorse what others have said about the rooms, facilities and cleanliness. I thought there would be road noise disturbing our sleep, the bedrooms being at the front, but nothing. Only one thing I wish was there and that is a handle on the wall onto which I could hold whilst taking a shower. With that the accommodation would have been totally perfect. However its absence would not stop me staying there again. We all loved it. Daughter walked to the Ballroom and got a takeaway for one night and that was delicious.

Dear Gwen. Thank you for your kind words and I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay. I will certainly have a look at the shower in the ensuite and see if I can find a way of putting in something to hold on to. Look forward to you coming back soon. Best Wishes. Andrew

Stayed here for a week and couldn't recommend a better place to stay.

Spotless apartment in fab location. Well equipped with everything - a real home from home (possibly better!).

Very comfortable beds which for me is very important. Couldn't recommend more!

“A home from home in trendy Cheltenham”

How lucky were we to find this gem of an apartment?
Firstly the apartment was wonderful, spacious, very comfortable, everything you could possibly need, beautifully decorated with great artwork, the beds were so nice with lovely white cotton bedding, huge soft pillows and they even supplied bathrobes!
The area could not have been better, trendy Monpellier right on your doorstep!!
We were there for 10 days and spent the days driving out into the beautiful Cotswold countryside, visiting little villages, having cream teas or sampling the local pubs which all serve great food and traditional ales.
Cheltenham offers so much, for the serious shopper your could not position yourself better, (not far to carry all those designer bags home)!! From individual boutiques to high street names, shopping wise Cheltenham has the lot, and in amongst all that are hidden gems that I'll leave it to you to find!
I can recommend a few to start you off -
The Monpellier Wine Bar - great for lunch or dinner and literally 2 minutes away.
The Soho Bar - try the Scotch egg made with black pudding, it's to die for!
Cafe Rouge - Egg Benedict for breakfast and the best coffee!
If your looking to buy sort artwork try Ellie at the Paragon Gallery just around the corner!
Hey listen what more can I say, we loved it and Andrew, thank you for the wonderful stay in your beautiful apartment!
Enjoy!

“Unexpected space and luxury”

After a wonderful stay in the Cotswolds we joined friends in Cheltenham for
a party - they kindly booked Royal Parade apartment for us to share with
another couple for the two days.

The last time I stayed in a rented apartment was in my student days and we
were dreading the experience.

First impressions - hmm not bad - quintessential Regency parade of Cotswold stone houses. Inside the apartment it felt more like a two bedroom suite
than a holiday let. The owner was quite helpful although was a bit taken
aback that we'd brought the dog, a bit of reassuring and they were soon
best friends. He also arranged extra hypo allergenic pillows as I don't
like natural down ones. No complaints there.

We didn't use the kitchen except for coffee using the nespresso type
machine which was a nice touch to start the day in the small garden
catching up on emails. All quite handy really. Good wifi signal too.

After a day or so in Cheltenham we felt quite at home. For four adults it
was just about roomy enough. The cafes in Montpellier are a national
treasure, although note to self - five different malts in the whiskey cafe
bar (opposite Brasserie Blanc) was probably pushing it a bit.

Thank you for your kind comments about our Royal Parade apartment.

We are "pet friendly" although Orlando is a tad larger than we had expected! He is, however, gorgeous and behaved impeccably. I hope he enjoyed the open space of Montpellier Gardens as much as we do and look forward to welcoming you back again in November.

With very best wishes,
Andrew
