We had a lovely lazy time in rye, soaking up the atmosphere. the flat was a brilliant base, being so near the high street, but so peaceful with the river gently flowing outside and the distant wind turbines slowly turning. A great place to chill out.
Stunning location and walking distance to wonderful Rye. Apartment was clean and basic and had everything you needed. Just be careful with the cleaner as tasks such as emptying the bin doesn't come under her remit. This surprised us for the cost of £120 per night for a small, self catering apartment. Otherwise we had a great stay in Rye.
Helped by catching some wonderful weather, we had a fabulous second stay at 1 The Boathouse. The apartment has everything you could possibly want for a stay and is situated in the quietest and most picturesque spot. Away from the bustle of this lovely town it is nevertheless convenient for station, supermarket and some of the better restaurants. Such is the 'out of the way' siting of the place, I would recommend a torch for finding your way back on some dark nights. Excellent!

We stayed here in mid august and had a lovely time. The apartment had everything we needed and was spacious enough to fit our four month old in, would 100% go back as the setting was perfect for a relaxing break.
Stayed in No 11 at The Boathouse. Decor a little tired but has a charm about it. Very comfy bed and so quiet we slept like a log! Perfectly situated to watch the sun rise across the water and just a short stroll into town. Overall a lovely short break.
