My collegue and I were at a seminar over the weekend at the AECC and needed a room.Just a few feet from the english coast is the welcoming and beautifully furnished Woodland House. Allthough we only stayed for one night, we felt right at home. With a cozy room with lots of extras and a large private bathroom we got a good nights rest. Breakfast was wholesome and enough to satisfy the hungriest stomach. We highly recommend the Woodland House for anyone looking to spend a few days in Bournemouth.

Stayed here on business and though the trip was short Victoria went out of her way to make you feel at home and cater for your needs. Really cosy bedroom with an absolutely hugeeeee bath to have a nice soak in with loads of bubble bath/extra provided. Lots of lovely personal touches such as chocolate in your room, tea which is always a bonus. The breakfast was massive and really good, had to dash off to a meeting but they asked if I wanted more breakfast upon my return which I thought was really sweet. I really felt like I was staying at a very welcoming friend's house. Just proves that independent B&B's are always a mile ahead of chain hotels/B&B, couldn't recommend it more .

We recently stayed in this beautiful Bed And Breakfast.
We both loved the high quality furnishings throughout & the beds were very comfortable. The crisp cotton linen and fluffy duvets were sumptuous. The Victorian style bedstead matched the ambiance.
Bedrooms were very welcoming and stocked with extra treats & water.

The wholesome, quality breakfast was served by happy, helpful hosts. We were new to the area and Nigel was very helpful- going out of his way to help with directions, printed maps etc.

I would highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast to anyone!

We stayed one night in September and were eager to see the beach. We were warmly welcomed by Victoria and later by Nigel when we arrived to our very comfortable room equipped with a large private bathroom. Both bedroom and bathroom were thoughtfully stocked with in the first case chocolates, biscuits and bottled water, and in the case of the bathroom anything we might have forgotten - shampoo, etc. After a 5 minute walk we were down on the beach and walked for hours along the walkway past beach huts - something I'd read about but never seen. The beach is beautiful and pristine and we ended up at a recommended beach bistro to eat a delicious meal and watched darkness come over the beach. When we arrived back at Woodland House, we found a computer print-out about the New Forest ponies which I had asked about having encountered them earlier in the day. Nigel had taken the time to look up information and leave it out for us - very thoughtful and appreciated. We had a very good night in the very comfortable bed and next morning Victoria served us a large and delicious breakfast. A much appreciated extra kindness was that when Victoria saw our large suitcases, she gave us access to another room to open them out in and we were able to reorganize our things and find what we needed easily. We would certainly return to Woodland House when in Bournemouth.

We stayed two nights at Woodland House and from the moment we arrived were made welcome by Victoria and Nigel. We were in the double room with a large private bathroom, with a bath and a shower. The bedroom overlooks the secluded garden. It was the small points we noticed that made our stay so pleasant – flowers and chocolates in the room, comfy bed and a good choice at breakfast. The views from across the road on the clifftop are spectacular and stretch from the Isle of Wight to Swanage. The zigzag path had us on the beach in five minutes! We shall be returning next summer and would recommend this B&B to anyone.
