Accommodation / restaurant

Just back from Turkey & Tinsel at Marsham Court Hotel. Accommodation comfortable but quadrant shower too small and hand basin somewhat awkward. But restaurant (breakfast and evening meals) were all very good. The restaurant manager (Patricia Clarke) was excellent - her understanding and guidance over gluten free needs was much appreciated. All staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful.

My wife, Jan, and I have just celebrated our twentieth dance holiday, several of them have been at Marsham Court Hotel. We first visited Marsham Court 15 years ago when it was slightly old fashioned, now it is an up-to-the-minute modern hotel. Our room was large, comfortable and spotlessly clean - housekeeping has always been good at this hotel.
Breakfast was self-service, but there were plenty of staff around to help if needed. The evening meals were good with a choice of dishes, once again the young staff were very efficient. Pat, restaurant manager, was always friendly and helpful, and every member of staff we spoke to was polite and friendly.
Although Marsham Court is a modern forward looking hotel it still retains a friendly atmosphere, my wife and I will certainly stay here again.

We booked the Marsham Court Hotel for BBLOC's (our theatre company) 70th Anniversary Ball. Ashlie (their Head of Events) couldn't have been more helpful through the whole planning process. On the day, the event went beautifully. The three course menu we'd selected was excellent and all the staff we had contact with were really lovely and very helpful too.

I would definitely recommend the hotel if you're planning an event.

Room tip: Some of our attendees used the hotel pool the next morning. It's left deliberately unheated in the winter for cold water swimmers. Great!

We stopped at the hotel in October, five of us and a dog. One person needed a hoist, another a walk in shower and all this worked well. Staff were very attentive and helpful, providing advice and support wherever they could.
The dog was very pleased with all of the attention staff gave her, and having a dog bed and bowl, is a nice touch. Our dog really appreciated the provision of a tennis ball, and being offered dog biscuits on a regular basis.

This was our first stay at The Marsham and certainly won't be our last, our stay was for 4 nights including Breakfast and Evening meal , the food was excellent. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a large bed and fridge which was a bonus, bathroom again very clean with a shower over the bath, my only criticism would be the shower ,seem to have no pressure and was very difficult to control the water temperature via the taps. All the hotel staff were so welcoming and friendly , nothing was to much trouble and any issues soon dealt with. The hotel itself is so convenient for Bournemouth, we parked the car and as there was a bus stop a few minutes level walk away with so many buses serving it we didn't need to use it. All in all a lovely stay at a lovely hotel , see you again soon

Very impressive green practices, first hotel we've stayed providing recycling facility & actually abiding by posted towels reuse arrangement. Also admirable little touches like reception's walking stick holders & hotel history and plans display boards.
