No Hot water throughout whole of hotel. Receptionist was aware and did not tell us and only wanted to take payment as quickly as possible on our arrival.
When we realised no hot water I went to reception and was informed of Boiler issue and no hot water in hotel. There was no apology for inconvenience and when asked about plans for compensation I was told to email hotel manager which has been done with no response. They are very quick to take payment and no help when it comes to providing the service that’s been paid for and no response with regards to compensation.

I only accept full refund for this awful overnight stay. There is no way I will accept a free nights stay or anything similar due to the number of concerns over the extremely poor standards of this hotel.

Main concerns with boiler issue was water leak directly outside our hotel room in ceiling as per attached photos into live electrics causing massive fire hazard and when I raised this concern with maintenance man he did not speak English and he did not care about the situation.

As per attached photos the hotel also decided to hours of cutting and drilling in the ceiling directly outside our room, so obviously this was all we could hear and relaxation was non existent.

Another concern raised at reception was when I asked why are they still checking in guests and taking further payments from people who are unaware there is no hot water in the hotel. Many other guests we spoke to said the same and if they knew the poor quality of standards in every department of this hotel including hygiene in relation to hot water and washing hands they would have stayed elsewhere.

We ate breakfast in restaurant and I questioned the hot water situation concerned kitchen staff could not maintain hygiene standards washing hands during food prep which receptionist confirmed there was no hot water in kitchen either, so the fact we were eating in a restaurant with extremely poor hygiene standards this needs to be reported further which I am in the process of doing.

Terrible customer service, no hot water, maintenance directly outside hotel room at all hours, no relaxation, not able to wash or shower and extreme lack of hygiene standards I repeat. DO NOT STAY HERE AT ANY COST.

Many hotels close that will offer a better service or a night spent sleeping in your car will be better than a night in this hotel.

We chose the hotel due to its close proximity to the BIC. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We were upgraded to a room and lounge. Everything you needed was available and it was very clean. It is dated and in need of some updating but the bed was comfy and we had a very good night's sleep. Breakfast was excellent. We will definitely be back.

The hotel is dated that said it’s a great location and clean. Iron, small safe, hair dryer in room along with shampoo etc in bathroom, tea coffee biscuits in room. Staff are very nice and the food for breakfast is great cooked to order with vegetarian options alongside a small buffet. Crab restaurant food is very nice and well presented. Lounge bar area is lovely for pre dinner drinks. Nice couple of days for a great price.
