We booked for a table of 6 for a Saturday night, after ordering drinks at the bar which were added to our table's tab, we were shown to our table. Our waitress was attentive despite it being busy and the wait for food and drinks was fine. I had the Bahian Coconut Chicken which was lovely, my husband had the beef burrito which he enjoyed and the dessert empanadas. Drinks were great too!

Came across this place by chance as we went out for a meal on the spur of the moment. At first looks it appeared the place was shut. However we tried the door and it was open. A very bubbly server, Lauren B, greeted us on entering and showed us to a table whilst engaging in pleasant small talk.

We ordered drinks to start, these are varied and they have a good range of cocktails and mocktails, and then set about looking at the varied menu - so much we would have liked to have tried. We settled on 5 tapas starters, 4 things that we had never had and the Nachos. All 5 dishes were excellent, so many different flavours and the Cerviche was a great palate cleanser - crisp and cutting.

The rack of ribs that my wife had were cooked to perfection, literally just falling off the bone and very tasty. I chose the Brazilian Muqueca de Peixe which is basically a fish stew. Do not be put off by the word stew. I can best describe it as a green Thai curry flavour but without the heat!. It was gorgeous, as good as any as I have had before, brimming with brilliant flavours.

There is a good selection of wine and we chose a bottle of Merlot, a little on the expensive side but that was our choice. It again was very nice.

We did not try any of the desserts as we were full, unusual as we both have big appetites but the food portions are not small.

The service we received from Lauren B was brilliant. She was enthusiastic about the food and the venue and listened to our requests. If you have an allergy just let the server know and they will accommodate you. We were offered a gluten free menu along with the main menu's as soon as we were seated.

We could not fault the venue, the service or any of the food, it was a great dining experience and we will be returning in the future.

The restaurant filled up pretty quickly after 12 pm so it may be best to reserve a table if you are eating later than 12pm. They have a good childrens' menu and were catering for a hen night and a table of 12 when we were there, so there is ample room.

All in all a brilliant lunch experience.

The restaurant had quickly filled up by the time we finished eating. It was very noisy with everyone talking away giving the place a good atmosphere. Plenty of young people.
Service was very friendly and the food hot and delicious. We had the pork ribs, really lovely.
Good place to go if you like spicy Latin American food. We had never been to this chain of restaurants before and were very pleased we did this time.

Arrived around 9:15pm and needed to wait for a table for around 20 minutes... not a problem we thought.. just enough time to get a drink. No chance of getting served at the bar for us or anyone else around us... 20 minutes went by and I never saw anybody get served although the bar tenders were all very busy making drinks. Nobody came to offer us a table.. we had to ask again and we were then given a table.. still no drinks though.
When we sat we immediately ordered our drinks... around 5 minutes later we ordered our food.. the starters came pretty quickly but still no drinks. The waitress brought us some water and went to chase up our drinks.. we had almost finished our starters (which were good) when our drinks finally arrived. The main courses.. the first was steak which was good but was more medium than medium rare, the second was coconut chicken which was OK but not very hot and the third was goat curry which my husband enjoyed very much.. the cocktails were really good too.. there was a heck of a lot of cleaning up going on around us while we were still eating which is really rude. The prices were quite expensive considering the whole experience and when trying to decline the option the leave a tip the machine wouldn't allow it and we were forced to leave one. So.. mixed.. hence the 3 stars overall

We visited here as a family of 6 - 4 adults and 2 children and we all had a lovely meal. We were served by Nik, who was very friendly and helpful and great with the kids. It's a lovely building, converted from one of the old victualling stores in Royal William Yard. I highly recommend it!
