A perfectly located apartment overlooking the Plymouth Sound. Apartment was clean and was equipped reasonably well( although there was no dishwasher as described) and fittings are getting tired. In need of mirror in main bedroom and smoke alarms ARE needed for peace of mind. TV remote stopped working after day 1 but the view made up for it.
St Austelll Brewery pub in the harbour has great food at a reasonable price and the Aquarium is worth a visit.

The apartment has glorious, uninterrupted views over Plymouth Sound, with friendly neighbours. It is reasonably comfortable and generally good value. A few minor issues eg TV remote & some light bulbs not working, dodgy light switch in bathroom, no shower screen in en suite, no coffee maker + bring your own bin bags! Be warned about parking: you cannot park on the opposite side of the road + parking is per day, not over 24 hours. Parking restrictions apply 10-4pm. These conditions were not made clear - in fact we were told we could park on both sides of the street - and we were given a parking ticket.
The flat is in a stunning location, with access to a communal lawn with views of the Sound and Drake's Island.
Most things were satisfactory, but a few niggles. The french windows need sorting, especially the ones in the bedroom.
We had to borrow a tin opener from the neighbours, but that gave us an excuse to meet them, very friendly.
The TV remote is erratic.
The shower in the front bedroom needs a screen as it is not positioned properly and water goes everywhere.
