The Mount Batton can be seen from the Barbican and is served by a regular ferry which it's self is a lovely journey of about 10 minutes. It is set on the waters edge and has a modern and open feel . There is a wide range of food all very good quality and reasonable prices . The mixed sea food platter , scampi and the sunday carvery are among our favourites . The restaurant is both children and dog friendly .

Visited this evening. Always made very welcome. Food was good, good size portions. Staff very friendly and happy. Pub was busy but staff made time to ensure that we had everything that we needed. Good to visit a pub that makes everyone welcome, including young families, the elderly and the disabled. Lovely setting and great for a walk to work up an apertite. Look forward to the next visit.

Have visited this pub on many occasions and never been disappointed. The staff are always hepful and as a veggie they always do their best to accommodate by adapting the menu or making me something that isn't on the menu. A special mention to Micael who has worked there for as long as we've been going there, he always makes an effort and makes us as customers feel valued (not the case in a lot of pubs)!
The drinks are well priced and my husband says it is the best pint of Fosters to be had locally!

Visiting the eldest at Plymouth University and needed a place for a late lunch.
The food is amazing, huge portions, large menu and reasonably priced. I enjoyed my filled Yorkshire Pudding. In addition to the menu there is a special board with more food on it than on the menu at most pubs!
I would have no issue recommending dining at the Hotel Mountbatten.
