Really beautiful gardens and nice play area but I just think it is overpriced for what it is. I paid £31 for one adult and two children (no concession for students) and then more to go on the train. I was aware of the price before I came but thought the play areas would be bigger and better. Unfortunately one play area closed due to being painted which was a shame, especially at the start of the school holidays. I would recommend but I do think it’s over priced.

Supposed to be disabilty friendly laugh . Slopes hard to get around the place . Expensive entry prices. And they want more to use the train . Restaurant ok . Nice gardens . Grass poorly edged . Dogs cost extrs why . Disabled who cannot get around get 1 pound off weeeehhhh hoo. I enjoyed the day with my family . Not because of the place .

Bicton Gardens, near Budleigh Salterton, is a wonderfully peaceful place to spend a day.
Many attractions, including a wonderful Farm and Agricultural Museum and a long panoramic narrow gauge train ride, exist in beautifully landscaped gardens.
Added to that, a year's subscription also enables you to visit Morwellham Quay, an old Victorian Mine and River Quay complex on the river Tamar is included in the price. Great vaue for money - and the food is good!
