“Great view, great location, great town!”
Reviewed 2 August 2011 for a stay in July 2011

Dart View House is situated less that two minutes walk from both Dartmouth historic town centre, and the Dart River. The balcony offers increadible views over the Dart River down to Dartmouth Castle, and Kingswear on the other side.
Bayard Quay, from where the Pilgrim Fathers set sail is no more than 200 metres away and can be found bustlibg each evening with children (and adults) crabbing. A pub and fish & chip shop are a stones throw away.
We spent all but on of our evenings crabbing with our kids (7 & 12) and you could safely allow older children to walk there themselves.
Dartmouth Castle is a please and scenic 40 minute walk, and if you don't fancy the walk back, a small ferry will transport you back to the town for just £2 and adult and £1 a child.
There's loads to see in Dartmouth and the surrounding area, from small coves and rock pools (check out Lannacombe Cove - but get there early) to the wild beauty of Dartmoor which is about 45 minutes away by car.
