Spent a week in this fantastic accommodation in Tintagel Village. Close proximity to everything and yet still very quiet. Good access to coastal walks. The cottage has everything you need and is dream to stay in. It is a credit to owners Nik and Linda who are good to deal with.

“Absolutely brilliant place to stay”

We stayed for a week at Guinevere during our road trip around Southern England. We stayed at various places and without a doubt this was the best of the lot. From the moment we entered we fell in love with the place, very high quality, spacious and very cosy. The location is great for exploring Tintagel and we used it as a base to explore further afield from Lands End to Bude. There is private off road parking and we had no problems at all with the other small number of residents in the mews, who always greeted us with a polite hello etc. The added bonus being excellent value for money and a friendly owner how could we not love it here. Normally I prefer to stay at different places when returning to areas visited, on this occasion though, I would not stay anywhere if I ever found myself in Tintagel again.

Stayed here for the first week in June and the sun shone every day. The barn conversion was really appealing, very peaceful and in a great location for the north cornwall coast. Lots of places to visit, thanks for your guide books Nik.Hope to visit again, worth the long drive.

“A truly comfortable and very pretty cottage”
Reviewed 12 June 2013 for a stay in June 2013

We stayed in Guinevere in the last week of May 2013, After a shocking journey down which began the night before and lasted 12hrs altogether, we were so happy to get to our destination about 4pm Saturday.
After a simple matter of gathering the key from the keysafe and opening the gates for our car, we were so happy to find such a gorgeous dwelling, so homely and inviting.
Having not got much in the way of supplies we read the welcome letter along with a card from Nik and Linda (a lovely touch), we went to the little Londis just up the road, which it mentions, this has a very good selection of groceries.
The cottage itself has all you could want in the way of luxury, a great sound system for the TV/DVD which we enjoyed having a film before bedtime many nights. The kitchen is well fitted as is the Utility/Laundry room which is very convenient with separate washing machine and tumble drier.
The Minstrels Gallery/mezzanine bedroom with en-suite was very cute, and also there is a single bedroom attached. The bathroom is lovely and has a integrated shower on the taps.
We found the place so comfy that we noticed we were getting up later and later each day and had to force ourselves almost to explore such a beautiful area. One little snippet for those who don't like hectic busy resorts Tintagel is so nice after about 5pm when all the day trippers go home, it's the time to dine out and chill and we loved to go down to where the Camelot Castle Hotel is and watch the sun setting as our weather was so gorgeous that week !!

Check out King Arthur's Arms and also The Olive Garden...lovely food...

If we ever come back to Cornwall, Guinevere will be the first place we will be looking to stay, and will recommend it to all our friends/relatives too...
