Me and my partner stayed here in October 2016 and have just been for a return visit, staying in room 4 this time round. Yet another relaxing weekend in beautiful accommodation. Very spacious room with lovely roll top bath. The staff are very welcoming and offer yummy cake on the afternoon. Breakfast is faultless, serving the best eggs benedict. Will hopefully be back in the future.
Thank you to the Primrose team for a wonderful stay

This B&B is well situated right off the Porthminster Beach and steps away from the wonderful Porthminster Beach Cafe. It is a solid 10 minute walk into the main touristy area but that also provides some refuge from the masses. The breakfasts were superb with fresh local ingredients and kept us stoked throughout the day. Although we had a spacious suite, it did not come with any view and I didn’t look at the other rooms so you may have to sacrifice space for view?

Room tip: Ask to see the room

Thank you for this review . Our sea view rooms are spacious but the two large suites do not have sea views.

We had an excellent stay. Room 3 was very well appointed and had fantastic views. The weather was crazy and there were huge waves overnight. Our room was cosy and the double glazing worked well. It was a large room and very stylish. Thank you in particular for the earlier parking and earlier check in, which was a great help. (Of course this may not always be available, but it was very kind of the team.) Booking and communication was easy, and the team were friendly and professional.
The veggie breakfast was excellent and very tasty. Lots of choice on the menu and on the breakfast buffet table, including toaster, fresh fruit and a range of jams, and cereals with seeds. Great place, lovely location. Would definitely return.
Thank you.

Fantastic! Beautiful view, excellent service. The folks working there could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Within walking distance of everything in St. Ives. It is right on the beach. Breakfast was fantastic as well.

Room tip: beach front or beach view, open the doors to the balcony and sleep to the sound of the ocean!

What a great hotel, super clean and very pretty, the staff were great too. It was the weekend after our wedding and asked for rose petals and wine and fully accommodated! Breakfast is lovely too! Relaxed place in great location next to a stunning beach. Highly recommended.
