Our room was on the first floor, the room was pleasant walk in shower in bath room, very comfortable bed.Food of excellent quality.evening meal was a set meal but could have something different if you wanted it. Also good choice for breakfast. Serving staff very pleasant and obliging.

Just returned from a weeks stay had a wonderful welcome, good food, limited choice, but all good quality, home cooked. Rooms looking a little tired and our room badly needed a new bathroom, it took about 20mins to get water into the bath, and pressure in shower was poor. Heating in room was an overkill and room was very warm. Service was very good, and hotel very clean.
One word of warning there is no lift, although they do have ground floor rooms.
No wi fi there's a Tesco up the road with free wifi.
The Hotel is about a 30min walk down hill outside the town.

Room Tip: 1st floor frount rooms

Just back from stay at this hotel.Food is plentiful and very good, not for waistline though.
Very comfortable only drawback didnt like sink in bedroom if it all had an update could go as 4* hotel. Please note there is no lift.We had entainment in evenings.Bus stops along road not far from entrance. We went with Cooks coaches John deserves a medal getting coach into very awkward entrance as we had the biggest coach there is.St Ives is lovely
steep climbs but quaint.Id love to go back but 11 hour journey from Essex is very tiring.
