“Perfect Cottage, perfect location!”
Reviewed 23 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

A beautiful cottage with everything you could ask for!

This is the second time we have stayed at Arabia Cottage, first time was in June 2015 and the last time was over the 2016 Christmas period! We can honestly say that when we return to Port Isaac we would definitely choose to stay at Arabia cottage yet again.

Once the car was parked we didn't use it for the week - had its own designated parking space about 100 metres from the cottage. Walking around the village and the coastal paths kept us occupied, along with our little visits to the local pubs, The Golden Lion, The Old School House and The Port Gaverne Hotel was our favourites. We also loved The Crab Pot which we went to a lot in June but unfortunately was closed during our Xmas stay. Some of the other places were closed over Xmas, but that didn't bother us - liked it being peaceful and not crowded!

A really lovely cottage in a perfect location. A wonderful view from the top of the garden overlooking the village, so beautiful - especially loved the sound of the sea and seagulls. The top loft room was fantastic, great to sit and watch films whilst enjoying the views.

The kitchen was very well equipped, everything had been thought of. Loved eating our Xmas meal at the table with such a wonderful view and afterwards playing cards with the wood burner going to add extra coziness! Beds were comfy and bathroom really good. Everywhere was clean and furnished to a high standard!

So glad to have found Arabia Cottage - and thank you for our stay! Looking forward already to our next break there!

“Lovely place. Very nice view (weather permitting) from the terrace.”
Reviewed 10 November 2016 for a stay in July 2016

A lovely house, nicely furnished and very comfortable. The whole place was beautiful, clean and cosy. The garden/terrace upstairs is adorable and the view from there is very nice too.
Apart from an annoying little problem with the bins, everything went well and the stay was very nice. I would definitely recommend this place to friends.

How easy was it to book the property? How helpful were the directions to the property?
How easy was key pickup/access to the property?
Liked best: The terrace upstairs (beautiful garden and view)
Liked least: A problem with the bin: apparently due to bags... It wasn't removed. Quite annoying especially in hot weather

“Fantastic cottage in perfect position”

We actually stayed here in February 2013, was one of the best cottages we have stayed in full stop. Wonderful position, no need to use the car really if you are happy walking the coast path and exploring the village. Beautifully kept and very cosy, also of course great if you are a Doc Martin fan. Would recommend to anyone. Only real issue is at that time of year most things are closed as out of season, however if anything like us it is nice to have the peace and quiet.

“Relaxing”

We had a very relaxing stay at Arabia Cottage. Comfortable bed. Power shower. Loved the extra sitting room from where we could just read whilst watching the harbour down below.
Great that we could take our pooch with us too. Near lots of lovely walks and places to eat you could pretty much park up and forget about the car for the whole stay.
