Beautiful scenery, very clean and had everything we could possibly think of. It’s right in the centre of town so easy enough to walk to and plenty of places to grab a bite or drink. Highly recommend!

Nice beach. Seemed nice and clean. Plenty around to do and see - nice little ice cream van and cafe. Very nice and quiet when we visited. Dog friendly. Few little rock pools. Walking distance from car parks etc. We chose a difficult route down the steps to the beach but potentially a better way...? Wouldn’t recommend the aquarium though - that was overpriced and disappointing.

A lovely secluded beach, with many amenities. When the tide is low it more then triples in size. Ideal for families with many rock pools and caves to explore, again when the tide is out. There an aquarium right on the front with beach lockers and deck chair hire, £3 all day with a £2 deposit. A short walk at the top of the hill then you have all your shops, cafes, amusements and more. A must visit if your in Newquay.

Towan beach is a quiet sheltered beach with plenty of surfers about. Being in the cove it protects from some of the wind and plenty of little caves to explore at low tide.

Easy access from the town and plenty of places for food or kit within a stones throw.

Very surprised to see dogs on a town centre beach the week after Easter as they are banned on many Cornish beaches from Easter Day. As a dog owner I know that dogs don’t mix with children digging sand castles and suggest you take the children elsewhere.
