I stayed here with 5 friends for my friends Hen do. It was great value, the barn is beautifully furnished and couldn't knock the cleanliness. Everything you need for a chilled out break. Location is great, very short drive to local beaches and easy walking distance too. Would stay again and highly recommend it.

Very friendly owner taken us to a nice place, the home was modern and very clean,the house looks much better than on photos,fresh flowers welcome new guests. Fire place in the living room created a good atmosphere. Fishing lake on the farm.Very good place for enjoying holiday.

Stayed in August. Conversion is beautifully done. Very light and spacious upstairs in main living area and comfortable well appointed bedrooms downstairs. Very comfortable and welcoming. Its a shame it wasn't cold enough to use the log burner. Owners very helpful. Beach only 1/2 mile away. New Quay airport did not disturb us at all. A good time had by all.

Mowhay Barn is a perfect blend of modern and traditional, with all we wanted for a relaxing break, such as comfortable beds, powerful showers, and a large cosy corner sofa. The traditional feel of the wooden beams and the wood burner is complemented by modern touches such as wifi, a gas bbq and a dishwasher. There were many thoughtful touches upon arrival such as dishwasher tablets, maps of the area, flowers, and tea and coffee. The large upstairs area sold it to us; it was perfect for our group of 20s-30s from different nationalities to relax, cook, play games, watch dvds etc.
Even though it used to be a barn it is nice and warm, and in fact we were glad to have the excuse of using the wood burner one night after enjoying a leisurely bbq in the courtyard area.
It was special staying on a farm, but also being very close to two beautiful beaches; Watergate Bay (walkable) and Mawgan Porth. We even enjoyed a surf lesson at King Surf on Mawgan Porth beach. Other highlights included a cream tea (sweet and savoury) at St Mawgan Village Stores tea rooms, the Eden Project, and a wonderful time cycling the Camel Trail (routes between Bodmin and Padstow; parking and hiring bikes in Wadebridge). Although we had parking spaces for both our cars we noticed bus stops into Newquay nearby and the airport.
Nb It worked out well to order food from Asda online and have it delivered to the barn.
