This was our first time in Cornwall. We spent the last week of May at the lovely Salty Towers in Newquay hoping for great weather and we got just that. Sunny every day so we had loads of fun.
4 adults + 5 kids +1 dog and more than enough room in what was a beautiful holiday home. Most of it was renovated to the highest standards with a huge play room with books, DVDs and board games for the kids, more bed rooms and beds than in one could count, a huge kitchen and dining/living area with Sky TV, Wi-Fi and tonnes of DVDs and a hot tub in the pretty garden. Just right for the group that we were.
We did something new each day including a day at the lovely Crantock beach which you can drive to or climb down to (if you are adventurous like us), Go-Karts at St Evals, a trip to St Michael's Mount and the beach there, cycling the Camel trail (all the way and back), organic farms including the Healey's Cornish Cider farm, Truro town center, walking along Fistral beach and of course Newquay town center which is lovely. Grocery shopping was easy with Sainsburys and Lidl and smaller shops within walking distance of the house.
All in all this was a perfect holiday and we are very thankful for the warm hospitality.
