A very nice hotel with Good Facilities and clean rooms. Food is excellent and entertainment ok could do with a bit more variety Only stage acts or bingo each night. The complaint we had was the noise coming from show was so loud could be heard in roon

We had a 4night coach break in Newquay, staying at Sandy Lodge.Yes this hotel is dated, bed reasonably comfy, bathroom big,but no where to put your toiletries, other than the floor, unfortunately we did n,t have a shower, only spray attachments on taps.Tea/coffee making facilities in room.We had a problem with a hairdryer, this was rectified in 3minutes,after a call to reception. What a service,.Staff were very pleasant, worked really hard, especially in the restaurant.Food at both meals was plentiful,Cooked breakfast, cereals, yoghurt ,toast, evening meal chose of 2 starters,2 main, you get your own dessert. Evening entertainment,Bingo with Bill, lovely man.Singer one night, sorry forgot his name, great interaction with this residences,Another singer next night. Then Next night a comedian, singer, not to crude, but a laugh.Would I stay at the hotel again, yes, but not Newquay.Newquay which has started, needs a lot of money invested in it. P.s. There is a small swimming pool, and a lift to some rooms.

The hotel from the outside looks a little tired, good sized clean room, food ok. Hotel has spa facilities which I didn't get to use but I did use the pool and the Jacuzzi. The pool though small was warm and ok for a swim, the Jacuzzi was very warm though you had to pay a pound for fifteen minutes of bubbles. All in all a good weekend and I would go again.

We were visiting family members who were staying at the hotel and staying for a meal. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating in particular"Bingo Bill". The food was fresh and plentiful especially the sweet table where there was something for everyone and also a hot option. The dining room is clearly new nd is decorated very well. They have lots of little gifts and trinkets dotted around at very reasonable prices and even had a sale or two. The rooms were adequate for whatever you need on a short break. Only thing I could fault was the lack of attention to cleaning of the Windows and window sills to the front of the hotel in the bar/lounge area. These really let the place down. Elsewhere was clean.

Arrived at 7pm after a long trip from Scotland we were told to go direct to the dining room where a good hot meal was served very quickly also our cases were put into our rooms while we were eating staff very friendly and all meals excellent our room 305 was on the ground floor with easy access to all parts of the hotel the only downside was the tv in room 304 which could be heard very clearly but on mentioning it to reception it was rectified we enjoyed our stay and hope to return next year thanks to all staff

Room Tip: Room 305 is good if you are a smoker as its across the hall from the patio area and very close to all amenities
