Just back from a wonderful Christmas spent in Cuckoo Cottage. We arrived to find a lovely decorated and lit up Christmas tree! The cottage was just the right size for the four of us and our two dogs. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The parking space was very handy and we managed to get in and out with no bother in a big people carrier. Mousehole was an amazing place to spend Christmas. The lights were fantastic and the whole village was really festive. All the neighbours were really friendly as well. The owner is very thoughtful and her communication is excellent. We will definitely visit again!

“Ideally situated comfortable base”
Reviewed 12 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

Well equipped comfortable cosy cottage in the picture postcard village of Mousehole, locals very friendly, all appliances well maintained and good quality. Excellent base for Lands End and the Lizard.

Have just returned from a great week in Cuckoo Cottage. Snug with everything you need for a great holiday, home from home. Useful car parking area, convenient to explore the south west or if you want a restful week Mousehole has it all great eateries, fabulous safe bathing for toddlers, independent shops including a corner shop if you have forgotten any essentials; fresh bread daily and good quality meats/pasties. Located close to enjoy the Minack Theatre. Lots of great walking coastal and countryside from the cottage (Lamorna great coastal walk, fabulous views lovely cafe at the end of it serving excellent food)

“Perfect Cottage in the heart of Mousehole”
Reviewed 14 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Myself, my partner and my two dogs had a perfect time at Sue's cottage in Mousehole. The House was perfectly located for exploring Mousehole in a quiet street. The parking was invaluable on the little streets. The cottage was well equipped and had everything we needed, the little bottle of milk for our arrival was a lovely touch. The beds were comfortable and the cottage had everything we needed. Very close to the local Legion pub and the harbour as well as Mousehole's Shops and restaurants. Sue was a pleasure to deal with and everything went very smoothly. We will definitely be looking to come back and Cuckoo Cottage is recommended.

“Lovely traditional cottage. Lots to do around Mousehole. A packed week!”
Reviewed 24 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

The cottage, which is really well equipped, was exactly what we wanted. Right in the heart of Mousehole. A couple of minutes from the beach, cafés, pub, shops.
The parking space is very handy, and easy to get in and out of. We found driving in, rather than reversing in, much easier!! Loved the power shower!! Big freezer very handy. Several big supermarkets in Penzance, just ten minutes away.
Had really good contact with Sue by mail beforehand. Much appreciated!
From Mousehole, we visited St Ives (really good bus service from Mousehole to Penzance and then Penzance to St Ives. Came back on an open top bus (17a or the 17b...), St Micheal's Mount (go early!), the seal sanctuary, cliff walks (Lizard), the Minack theatre (fantastic views and lovely short walk down to Porthcurno beach. The car park for the theatre is free if you're paying to visit. There's an honesty box for donations if you're just using the beach), Lands End (we enjoyed the 4D cinema!), had a good meal in The Ship Inn. Wouldn't hesitate recommending both the cottage and Mousehole.
