“The perfect stay in Chester a hidden gem”
Reviewed 7 November 2015 for a stay in October 2015

Having worked and stayed in many hotels in Chester I thought we had bench marked all the gems, how wrong I was, Visited Chested 28th October to 1 Nov 2015 staying at Canal view, now it is not a hotel or a B&B but a self-contained en-suite double room with a mini kitchen, a canal view and parking, also waiting to greet you is the biggest breakfast goody basket we have seen, mini nature reserve outside the French doors overlooking the canal and Peace and quite on tap. Ken our host was there to greet us and explain where everything was including free Wi-Fi plus 2 loyalty cards for Telford Warehouse bar and restaurant, and the City of Chester within 10 mins walking (We will return)

“Peaceful and well-appointed”
Reviewed 10 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

My wife and I stayed here for three nights in early October and thoroughly enjoyed the location which is easy walking distance to the city centre and the city wall. Great compact en-suite room which is well-fitted out and icluded ample basket of provisions which we made use of. Good value and also secure off-street parking, so happy to recommend

“Second visit even better”
Reviewed 19 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Knowing what to expect from our previous visit we stayed here again for a week in September. Ken as ever was on hand to give us a warm welcome but also had a surprise waiting. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, he showed us the new addition to the room, a decking area accessible through the french doors. What an amazing feature just perfect for breakfast or a glass of wine in the evenings. We made good use of this during our stay, it certainly opens the room up and brings the canal and the wildlife so much closer. Well done Ken see you soon Sandra & Mike
