Great location, short walk into town or cheap taxi ride. Great bars and plenty of choice fir dining around Hoole. Staff excellent and breakie was lovely. Nice atmosphere and reasonable for the room rate. Very clean bedding and comfortable.

Room Tip: room 11 was great, top floor though and quite a few stairs.

The guest house is in a quiet area not too far from the racecourse and city centre. Had a lovely stay here when we were at the races. Staff were lovely the room was nice and clean and the breakfast was very nice and plenty. Only complaint would be the place good do with a make over and parking is a bit awkward at the rear of the building but overall no complaints and good value for money.

There is a lot of good to be said about Hamilton Court, it's clean, the beds are comfortable, the breakfast is lovely and the owners are pleasant. Although it is a bit dated you could think of it as 'Quaint'. However our room was below standard with wall paper peeling away, (possibly the result of substantial water damage) a chipped and wobbly (old) toilet seat, missing toilet roll holder and dated shower cubicle. It would have been easier to accept the wall paper with an explanation to check we were ok with it, the shower alone would be passable, but the small things such as the toilet seat (that would not cost much to replace) do need sorting out. The value and location are good and I wish them well.

Just stayed one night on a weekend and had a good stay staff were very friendly and helpful the bed and room were comfortable with tea and coffee etc.
The breakfast was very good and if you wanted more of anything it was not a problem.
Would recommend and stay again
