“great location, and well done”
Reviewed 15 October 2013 for a stay in October 2013

it was a little tricky to find by car and even more tricky to find the key box, but once located we enjoyed having our own private parkikng space, very nice kitchen well equipped, great TV system with cable, nice linens and ample towels and pillows (of course, there were only 2 of us).

While the heat was hard to get working, the place is well insulated and we actually kept the windows open. All the appliances and washer drier, etc. have detailed direction cards set out making it fairly easy to use, along wth the great coffee/tea makers.

Our only complaint is that there are a ton of stairs; 4 flights in all. Of course, we never even used the top or 4th floor. Bedrooms are small but the living areas are more then adequate with ample seating in an attractive space. Wifi worked great too!!

A real bonus, is that just around the corner is the canal with very nice waterside walking within 2 minutes, along with several terrific pubs to eat and drink.

Highly recommended and would return if in this area again, though, to our taste, Chester is way over rated and doesn't compare to the history and architecture of nearby Shrewsbury.

“What a FIND - a real gem!”
Reviewed 8 October 2013 for a stay in October 2013

Couldn't ask for more - easy walk to city centre, train station, buses (to almost anywhere!) and TWO car parking spaces (one in the garage - which stores two bikes 'for the use of'). Within sight of canal foot/cycle path - interesting walks in both directions. House, over four storeys, is very clean, comfortable and spacious. Excellent facilities e.g. three toilets (at ground and second floor levels) and a utility room - so useful when friends/family visit, especially with young children). We loved it ... and we've booked again already.

“2nd visit & certainly won't be the last.”
Reviewed 20 September 2013 for a stay in September 2013

No.1 Earls Villas offers everything we require for a superb racing weekend proximity to the city is just right 5 min walk, racecourse 15 min walk and the canal on the doorstep. The property is well furnished & maintained. The 2 parking spaces are a definite benefit and the bikes to cycle along the canal a great added extra. The Old Harkers Arms 2 mins away is a great place to eat and the Siam restaurant also 2 mins serves really good Thai food. Toby the property owner makes contact very easy and is extremely prompt at replying to emails. This will not be our last visit.

“Another fantastic stay at this fabulous house!”
Reviewed 12 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

This was our third time staying at Earls Villas, and we took our 2 young kids aged 3 and 5. The house itself is fantastic, the facilities and the layout are perfect for a young family. The location is brilliant for walks/cycles along the canal, a leisurely stroll into Chester, or a walk to the park and river. We also found lots of exciting things for the kids to do such which were a short drive away such as the zoo, and ice cream farm. I would recommend this accomodation to all sorts of parties - families, friends, adults, it really is perfect for all. Can't wait to go back again next year, neither can the kids!

“Great property in a fabulous central location”
Reviewed 26 July 2013 for a stay in July 2013

Fantastic property with parking for 2 vehicles. You honestly couldn't get a better location for the shops/bars and restaurants. Wouldn't think twice about staying again. Property has everything you could ask for including travel cot and high chair if you have a baby/toddler.
