Stayed here one night as a trip down memorylane visiting the campus that we lived on 20 years ago.
Fiendly staff welcomed us.
Appartment is what we expected it to be : basic, clean and quiet.
Kidds liked the fact they had there own room with shower and toilet. We found the different locks on the door a bit annoying.
Prepare a car to go to town. .

Family of four stayed for one night, excellent value, apartment spotless. Was a bit out of way we had car but were prepared for that. Highly recommend and 15 min walk from kidstown but can't bring car. Staff couldn't be more helpful and top quality spar convenience store at university entrance with good deli

I stayed here at the weekend with a group of 30, so had booked 5 apartments. They were fine for what we needed. We were well informed beforehand about the need to bring towels and that meals were not provided. The rooms and kitchen/ living area are basic enough but are fit for purpose. I would stay here again if coming with a large group.

There. HORRIBLE. Thats the only word to describe this shambolic conference type accommodation.

2 bedrooms in an apartment 'style' setting with a kitchenette and a communal area were fairly clean through far from spartan.

Rooms have NO PHONES and NO Wifi. Yes you read that right..a CONFERENCE accommodation that has NO in-room PHONE or WIFI...in the 21st century this happened. You get good old hard wired internet access here so put your iPads and smartphones away, just like the 1990's...Oh..and NO TV's in a bedroom. I am not kidding..there is no TV!!!!! I just laughed. There is a phone, it isn't in a bedroom but in a corridoor

Don't even expect your room to be turned over or have dirty towels replaced...they don't do that here. There's also a grotty little iron with some sort of gel-type film on it to make sure you destroy that shirt you need to wear at your meeting.

Feeling hungry? TOUGH..your option is to STARVE unless you want to spend the 12 euros into the city. There is NOTHING OPEN here. There is a small grocery store located 25 minutes walk from Cappavilla that shuts at 5:00 pm. I got there for 4:10 pm and that too was SHUT.

This place might be fine for kids backpacking etc, but please please PLEASE do NOT brand this as a conference accommodation. I face the dignity of a 24 euro round trip into town to buy the basic necessities. There are NO restaurants on campus seemingly open after 2:00 pm. You will STARVE here.

As a final insult, capable is located 25 minutes walk from the main campus. There are absolutely NO provisions for shuttle busses etc to take you to the main buildings..and if it rains, then thats just too bad. This residence really is in the middle of nowhere.

This is a disaster of a conference venue. If you need to attend events at the University of Limerick, I urge you to stay somewhere in the city and not on this distant campus. It is absolutely bereft of any sort of facility or convenience.

The staff who work here are NOT a reflection of this car crash of a conference accommodation however. They were polite, friendly and accommodating wherever possible.

Room Tip: Bring your own towels, detergents, food, toiletries etc. Bring comfortable walking shoes. Bring an threaten cable for your laptop incase the one in your room doesn't work Buy a 5 euro phone card if you wish to use the payphone in the corridor Best tip of all? Just don't stay here.. That simple, and that sad.

The rooms were very spacious with good, large bathrooms. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the price was extremely good value. It would have been better if there had been wifi and I would say make sure you plan your trip well, as there was no where to eat on campus later in the evening.
