Went on the 5 day surf tour up to Doubtless Bay with Dougie and had the best time! The lodge was great and we spent the week visiting some gorgeous beaches up North and trying our best to surf! Dougie was really good with us helping us onto some waves and making sure we were all getting the hang of it. Had an awesome time - lovely location and atmosphere, good waves and great company! I'd definitely recommend it if you're even considering a surf trip. Five days wasn't long enough!

Absolutely loved going on a Surf The Elements surfing trip to Piha. Felipe is a great guy and did his very best to ensure that I learned a lot and most importantly had a great time surfing! I also did the Waitakere Experience Tour with Doug which was also a great experience, stopping of at the amazing KareKare waterfall and Piha Beach, where we explored the wonders of the West Coast. I would definitely recommend doing both tours whilst you are in the area!

I would absolutely recommend this tour for anyone with time to kill when visiting Auckland! It's truly a relaxing New Zealand experience. Felipe drives you through the beautiful Waitekere Ranges, with stops at a visitor center with incredible views of the city, harbor, and forest, as well as a beautiful waterfall and Piha beach, which is apparently an excellent surfing location. He gave myself and the few others on the tour time to walk around the beach. It was a great way to see the West portion of the Auckland area!
