“Immaculate cottage”
Reviewed 5 September 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Yew Tree Cottage was perfect for our weekend visit to the Peak District. The cottage is immaculate and has all the kitchen equipment, local guides and home comforts that you could wish for from a holiday rental. We borrowed the bikes to cycle along the Tissington Trail to Ashbourne and also had a fantastic walk to Dovedale. The local pub was great for Sunday lunch and the Lamplight Restaurant in Ashbourne for an evening meal. Sally emailed us lots of information before we arrived which really helped. Would recommend 100%!

“Cosy, Comfortable,Convenient”
Reviewed 29 August 2015 for a stay in March 2015

What a little gem, this cottage is very well presented with all home comforts. It is tastefully decorated creating a lovely cosy relaxed holiday environment. The village where it is situated is a great location for several walks and a variety of interesting places to visit are within easy reach. After a nice walk there is a local pub minutes away serving good beer and food or we stayed in and utilised the well equiped kitchen and had a peaceful evening. Thanks Roger and Sally we are looking forward to a return visit.

“Peach of a Cottage”
Reviewed 7 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Yew Tree Cottage is one of the best cottages we have rented in the UK. It has been renovated to a high standard whilst keeping a cottagey feel and it is ideally placed if you want to visit Tissington, Dovedale or Ashbourne. These were some of the things that made it so pleasant:
• comfortable beds with quilts for all seasons
• plenty of electric sockets in the right places
• waste bins in every room
• enough proper hangers in the wardrobe
• torch, umbrellas and hair dryer provided
• heated bathroom floor
• beautifully decorated, well equipped and no 'tat'

The crisps, chocolates and wine to welcome us were a lovely touch too.

“Perfection!”
Reviewed 26 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

There is only one word to describe Yew Tree Cottage and that is 'perfection'

It had everything and I mean everything we needed from a holiday cottage.

We will most definitely stay again if in the area
