We celebrated Rods birthday at Regatta recently
Our guest count was 130, we were thrilled with how Andy and Brad organised the seating.
We had a mixture of family and friends.
From the greeting at 6pm for Canapés to the end of the night at 1 am everything went like clockwork .
The 3 course dinner was fab and we are still getting great comments from the group.
Thanks to all the staff who were so professional and smiled all night .
We even fitted in a Vespa motor scooter and the band ‘Four on the floor’ who had us up dancing till the end.

This restaurant always seems busy, likely because of its location. Its a good place for a drink on a sunny day.But, i won't be headed there for any other reason than this. Last night we had our worst value meal i've had anywhere for quite some time....and thats saying something. A platter, to feed four or five was $75. Seems reasonable enough except it was sparsely furnished in the extreme. Lots of bread and crackers but devoid of much else. Tiny ramekin of hummus, cheese that the five of us drew straws to have a piece of, lots of grapes and a missing the pate. There wouldn't have been more than $25-30 of food and it certainly didn't feed 4 or 5. Fries were small bowls and costly. One member of our party had the fish and chips that was enormous.... bigger than the platter alone almost! None of the food was great. There was a graduation party in the place but even before this it was super noisy, i couldn't hear people across the table talking. Go there to see and be seen but dont expect value for money. Disappointing.
