2 vegans and 2 non out for breakfast.
The food was delicious.
Definitely recommend the mushroom canapé, the vegan feta is Devine! I will add a photo but started eating it 😉
Waffle with turmeric cream brûlée and coconut ice cream. Yummy ! One big breakfast also yum.
The chai was a little too spicy 🌶 for us so therefore 4/5
We will be back

Nice relaxed cafe with a small area at the back. We’ve been a number of times with family and friends, some who are not at all in to vegan or vegetarian food and who don’t make an effort to go out of their way for food like we do. They are always very happy to join us here though and like everything about it.
Always tasty, decent variety available as long you don’t leave it until late on and just very reliable. Prices are about right for what they offer compared to other NZ and Australian cafes. Handy location for a stroll down to the seaside afterwards.

With homework on my mind and on the verge of sickness, I went to Mimosa. I ordered a turmeric latte and was very surprised at how tasty this was. I was impressed by the presentation and the atmosphere of the cafe is adorable with extra seatting in the back. While there were not great plug in's for doing homework on a laptop here, the area was still great. Do not suggest doing school work here.

We stumbled over this little Japanese cafe when walking around Takapuna. It doesn’t look much from the road, the cafe is long and narrow but it’s clean and WOW the food is delicious. If you’re vegan you’re well catered for here! We tried the tofu bowl with grilled vegetables, miso soup and rice. It was outstanding. We will definitely go back here again when we’re in Takapuna.
