Walked into this surprise unplanned. The best glass of wine and perfectly balanced duck spring roll. Will come back again for the rest of menu.

This is my favorite cafe in the area.
Whenever I have guests I pick this cafe.
Great variety on the menu and good for foodies.
I feel like someone is cooking for me very carefully so I always have a wonderful warm feeling when I leave there.

Do not go here if you are coeliac.
Our booking noted that one person was coeliac but when we sat down, the chef came out to confirm that somebody was coeliac. He then said that he was not willing to take the risk and refused to serve us. So disappointing on a special celebration booked long in advance with coeliac specified.

What a fascinating place! Incredible location and chef.

Wine (only four options, nothing particularly good, served in cheap, small glasses)
Beer (old school lagers, one decent pilsner on tap but no IPA’s or Hazy’s), Service - some waiter/waitress training required (a bit forgetful/no solid process to ensure accuracy, no idea about the wine, opened the bottle away from the table, served a different wine than on the menu, etc.).
For now, a nice little cafe. With the location and food quality this could become a world-class restaurant with some relatively minor tune-ups.

We ordered three different savoury galettes and they were all delicious. Generously portioned and well presented. We felt they were excellent value. Our dessert was scrumptious - can't remember the name of it! The staff were friendly and the service was good. There was seating outdoors, but we chose a table indoors next to the window. There was ample parking available next to the Pumphouse Theatre. Highly recommend this restaurant for a taste of French cuisine.
