The 3-egg Western Omelet with home-fries was very good. Nice atmosphere, frequented by locals, so you know it is a good place to eat! One wait staff was kept very busy, but service still was good.
Will definitely visit again.

This restaurant was recommended by the woman at the front desk as I had requested one that served home-style cooking. I ordered the special on the board, pork chop with potoes amd vegetables. Before i even got the food it seemed as though the waitress was irritated with us. She was very short when speaking to us and almost threw our bread on the table. She brought our main course amd i disnt care for the mashed potatoes. She said they were homemade but theu tasted like instant mashed made with fish aquarium water. I declined fries instead and ate my pork....until i discovered how pink it was....i lost my appetite....i did not leave a tip but do not feel that the rude waitress with the facial piercings( they looked nice on her, but am stating it because i didnt get her name) deserved a tip. We were not rude....we were not loud.....we were very polite and had very much wanted this to be a good experience....i would not come here again

Having breakfast here was a big mistake. Ordered the breakfast special. Eggs were lukewarm, sausages were overcooked, toasted was soggy and potatoes were cold and hard. Would not recommend this place

Restaurant and motel are in the east end of town. Close to McDonald's; A&W; KFC; Ford dealer & Canadian Tire. Parking is somewhat confined. Food & service is adequate. Traffic is congested in the day time, especially summer.

At first glance, yes, it does appear a little run down. But it's in a charming, homey kind of way. The meals were reasonably priced, and very abundant.
I had the daily special which was the cutlet smothered in ham, chess and mushroom gravy. It came with fries and more vegetables than I normally eat in a week.
Overall, we found it to be great service which can be hard to find.

Thank Gerald A
