We asked for an early check in and were accomodated. We got the best room - the Royal Mountainview King Suite. It was gorgeous. Room was clean. Bed was a little hard for my liking. We had a perfect view of the mountains on our vert spacious deck. We booked a time for the outdoor hot tub and pool and enjoyed both. Staff were great. Hotel was clean and all around beautiful. I attended a wedding here and the service and staff was professional without being overbearing, polite without being too familiar. The cleanliness of the facilities as a whole was a battle being that the pandemic was ongoing and it was a slushy mix of wet winter weather, snow and ice. Nevertheless the staff appeared to keep up with it and importantly no issues with social distancing and masking in required areas. It is an expensive stay, but you get what you pay for in my opinion. It is not cheap to stay here, but the service and amenities don’t feel cheap, so value for money is appropriately average.
