Nice and Tidy 1 Bedroom Suite with Kitchen, pretty spacious. All kitchen utensils are all provided. Check in & Check out are smooth and efficient, Staffs are friendly. Good breakfast with fast refill when the staffs saw food were almost run out.

Staff was helpful normally but were so busy and in chaos when the power was out in the morning during my stay. I couldn't seek help as EVERYTHING was not working!!! No A/C, no light, no power for the fridge which I have food in, no microwave, wifi, charging phone,etc. The alarm (maybe smoking detectors or something similar) was triggered around 8am in the morning and other customers are out in the hallway complaining, there is no way to stay asleep!!! The stairs has 1 light working every other floors and we have to use our own flashlights to walk!! The worst is the locks for the main doors are not working as well so anyone can come in/out!! It's not even safe to stay in the hotel!! Why would the management decided to let customers stay with all those negative conditions?
Sorry to you have to experience the power outrage, please be assure that guests security and comfort is our primary concern, power outrage can strike anytime anywhere and yes it can be chaotic because it's unexpected but we do train and prepare our staff for it to make sure our guests are safe and comfortable during any emergency.
This is to express appreciation for outstanding customer service and responsiveness by Alex and his manager for my one night reservation with two rooms. Alex was especially courteous and helpful and I hope for another opportunity to visit.

I stayed here twice in the last few weeks. If I wrote this review based on my first stay alone, I would've given it 4 stars. But my most recent stay was no better than a 2 star, so I went with the average. The difference really came down to the rooms.
The hotel is located on a pretty quiet court, with ample free parking. The staff at reception were very polite but I did find it odd that this particular property doesn't honour the Hilton Honors perks like free water, contrary to what Hilton's corporate site says.
Like all Homewoods I have stayed at previously, free breakfast and light dinner was provided. There's a small gym and small pool. I didn't mind that they didn't have a hot tub because the pool was actually quite warm.
I booked a one bedroom suite both times. The first time, the room was very impressive. The furniture was new and the mattress was comfortable. My only complaint was the AC which made awful noises as it cycled on and off during the night. Made for very poor sleep quality.
The second time, the room had a damp smell, which I attributed to the old shower curtain. There was also an old muffin that a prior guest chose to throw under the AC that may have contributed to the funky smell. The mattress was hard, the shower head was old and although I wouldn't have imagined it possible, the AC was actually louder than the first time.
I value sleep quality so for that reason alone, I wouldn't stay here again.

Super nice and quiet suite across from a strange little strip mall. Short Uber or taxi to amenities and close to all highways. The staff was great and they offer hot breakfast and a complimentary “social” hour Monday to Thursday. If I needed to go back to Markham for any reason I would stay there. But I hope I don’t have to return to Markham.
