Awful experience. After having dealt with a rebooking of a hotels.com reservation which was a nightmare due to the rude front desk staff, I finally got things sorted out.. upgraded my room upon arrival to have a party right next door to us. From about 1:45am all the way till 4am, our lovely neighbors had their tv up so loud I could hear the bass through the walls, even with my sound machine on. They consistently came in and out of their room, shutting their hotel room door again and again. My husband and I had to get up to catch a flight early (at 4am), and I didn't want to wake him up by calling the front desk, so I didn't. I knew if I did, my husband would have not been able to get back to bed. So when leaving the hotel, my husband mentioned the noise to the guy at the front desk. Instead of an "I'm sorry", the front desk guy simply shrugged and said: "well you should have called." Again, I understand that calling might have prevented the situation from going on as long as it did, but the lack of care and empathy from the front desk guy made me realize I should have just ate the money when the staff were rude the first time.. especially after I upgraded our room.
