The hotel is nice and the rooms are clean but the receptionist was the rudest I have ever seen. The receptionist named Komal has attitude problems and was very rude when we were checking in. I do not think she is suitable for hotel customer service; even McDonald’s customer service is better.
I have made reservations for my family and as we went to check in, I asked her if she can help me check how many nights I booked for my family and she simply replied me no I cannot check that. This is really shocking to me because I always ask the receptionist every time I travel just to make sure there are no errors as I usually book from Expedia or other sites.
Also...I asked her if I can have my uncle check in for the other reservations since him and his wife has booked other tours to Ottawa and Montreal so there would be a lot of checking in and out. Again she replied me no because it is under my name which I agree with so she told me to call Expedia to request the name change. I said it is fine, I will call right now to change it. She did not want me to call at the hotel lobby and kept saying things to me but I was already on the call with Expedia. Note: this was around 9:30pm so there was no one lining up behind us to check in/out.
She also did not tell me the breakfast time and anything about swimming pool and wifi.
I believe that she is racist and like I mentioned before I get better service at McDonald’s.
I probably will not ever stay here again and advise my friends/family to not stay here as well since they are not the only hotel in the city.
