This hotel was pretty bad right from booking. I called confirm our stay and they said our room (two queens) was cancelled?? When I asked why they said I had cancelled it and we would be charged for it. We then booked another room that ended up being even smaller (two double beds) and the price was higher. I re book and they took off the charges for the other room that mysteriously was cancelled. We get to the hotel with our children after our event and are told our room was given away because we weren’t there in time? The website says you can check in until 7am in the morning. All that was left for us was one queen bed (4 people) and once again it’s even more money then the first two rooms! When I came in the building multiple employees were sitting in the lobby acting drunk and creepy. We get to the room and it smells musty/moldy, visible mold, smelly sheets, very dirty and very loud. We were woken many times with street noise and people arguing in the other room. We tried to make the best of it but it was a pretty terrible experience and we will not be back.

I felt so suffocated in room. The carpet has white droppings I guess some one must have puked in past which was not cleaned up. The carpet was so yukky that we could not only smell but even saw food droppings too from previous stay. Very very dirty and unhygienic.

I was recently booked to stay at the Park Inn by Radisson Toronto-Markham:

When I arrived at the hotel to check in the lobby was filthy and when I went into the room it was not up to the standards that the website had represented. I have attached photos of the lobby area, the hallway, and the carpets in the room.

I expressed my displeasure to the front desk and was told "we've had a lot of complaints but it's the owners that have to replace the carpet and furniture". I told her that I wouldn't be staying at the hotel and would like my money refunded. She said that because of the way I'd booked the room there was a no refund or cancellation policy.

I have contacted Choice Hotels and they have told me that I need to deal with the property directly for a monetary refund. I have contacted the manager by phone twice, with no returned call. He has responded by email only to say that he will not be refunding the money.

The website completely misrepresents this hotel.
