Below average on the cleanliness of the room. We stayed on the ninth floor the weekend of Oct 4-6. I will start with the positive: plenty of staff and quick service. decently clean lobby area, quiet surroundings and well sound proof insulation ( rooms and windows). The hotel has large parking lot with a 10$ fee/day; don't forget to register your license plate at the front desk. Now, things that didn't impress us at all for a 4 star hotel: some carpets are worn out on the floors. Our room had a huge stain on the wall under the light switch in the bedroom. We found crumbs of Cheerios when we opened the sofa bed. Lights were extremely pale. TV sets and image quality was like 1996. Is that how we receive the guests in 2024? Not to mention that a dust spider-like web was displaying in one of the corners. We will not come back to this location.
PS: I have to say that as soon as we reported to the front desk the issues found, the cleaning lady came quickly and fixed everything we showed her. She was very nice and professional.

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights with our friends. We booked two rooms. Tonya checked us in. She is friendly and helpful, recognized my status and kindly assigned us on the top floor next to each other. She is very detailed oriented in all aspects. We had a very pleasant experience with her. We also enjoyed the executive lounge very much.

The hotel is central in Markham with plenty parking. Room is clean and comfortable. Lobby has plenty seating area. It is not luxury, but it is well maintained, functional and comfortable. We really enjoyed this stay.

We stayed at the Hilton Markham during a family vacation and had a great stay.

The hotel is in a good location, with stores/restaurants and the Unionville GO station within easy reach.

The room was clean and well furnished. The hotel overall is looking tired and needs a refurbishment (especially the pool) but we had a great stay and I’d stay there again.
